Microsoft has introduced Scout, an autonomous AI agent designed to operate continuously within Microsoft 365 applications. Scout utilizes the OpenClaw agent framework and functions with its own governed Entra identity to perform tasks on behalf of users.

A bug in Microsoft 365 Copilot has caused the AI assistant to summarize confidential emails since January 21, bypassing data loss prevention (DLP) policies. This issue affects the Copilot "work tab" chat feature, allowing it to incorrectly read and summarize emails from users' Sent Items and Drafts folders.
