Claude Code uses approximately 33,000 tokens of system prompt, tool schemas, and injected scaffolding before processing a prompt, compared to OpenCode's 7,000 tokens. This results in Claude Code sending 4.7 times more tokens than OpenCode before reading user input.

OpenCode Web UI enables management of a homelab with Git access, allowing for push and approval of pull requests for deployment via GitOps. The setup includes a server with persistent coding sessions synced across devices and utilizes about a dozen Docker compose stacks, recently migrated to Arcane for deployment management.
