A follow-up survey in June separated pure AI-focused links from stories with broader consequences that substantially involved AI. In the first half of June, roughly 60% of the daily Hacker News lineup was categorized as AI-related or AI-generated, declining to about 50% near the end of the month. That compares with approximately 40% in February.
