Sula is a Gemini protocol server developed in Scryer Prolog. It requires a patched version of Scryer Prolog that includes a native '$copy_stream'/2 builtin for streaming binary files to TLS clients and a fix to library(pio)’s buffer preparation for lazy reads from process pipes.

The "small web" refers to initiatives aimed at reclaiming parts of the Internet for non-commercial, personal use, utilizing ordinary web browsers and servers for private sites without advertising and corporate tracking. The Gemini protocol, which operates on different protocols and software than the traditional web, has been adopted for this purpose.
